Zhaulin Kiikbay Mynbayuly

Born in April 1965 in Zharkamys village, Baiganin District, Aktobe Region.

By the decision of the Specialized Academic Council under the Institute of History and Ethnology of the Academy of Sciences dated May 7, 1997, he was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences.

In 1998, by decision of the Higher Attestation Commission, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

By the decision of the Committee for Control in the Field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 29, 2009, he was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Political Sciences.

By the decision of the same Committee dated April 11, 2011, he was awarded the academic title of Professor in Political Science.

In May 2019, he was elected Academician of the Academy of History and Social Sciences.

He is the author of about 200 scientific articles, 4 monographs, and 3 teaching and methodological manuals.

Public and Political Activity

From 1989 to 1994, he was elected from among students as a deputy of the first Guryev City Council and served for two terms as Chairman of the Standing Commission on Youth Affairs, National Policy, Culture, Public Education, and Historical Heritage.

From 1994 to 1999, he was elected as a deputy of the Atyrau City Maslikhat. He actively contributed to youth policy development and played an important organizational and ideological role in the renaming of Guryev city to Atyrau, as Deputy Chairman of the renaming commission and city council deputy. He also contributed to proposing the State Youth Program and renaming streets in honor of prominent Kazakh figures.
