Biography

Koishigulova L. E. is a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and a Professor. From 1985 to 1990, she studied at the Atyrau Pedagogical Institute, majoring in “Teacher of Russian Language and Russian Literature in Non-Russian Schools.” From 1999 to 2002, she continued her postgraduate studies in “Pedagogy and Psychology” at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. In 2004, she defended her dissertation in the specialty 13.00.01 — “General Pedagogy, Ethnopedagogy, and History of Education” and received the academic degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. In 2004–2005, she served as Head of the Master’s and Postgraduate Studies Department. In 2016, she became the recipient of the grant “Best University Teacher” awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2011–2013, she worked as Head of the Registrar’s Office of the Academic Policy Department at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University and was also appointed Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology. In 2018, she received the academic title of Associate Professor in Pedagogy. Since March 2018, she has been serving as Vice-Rector for Social Issues and Youth Policy. L. E. Koishigulova actively improves her professional qualifications. In 2015 and 2017, she completed international internships in France and Portugal under the educational program “Management in Education.” Since 2013, she has been a member of the Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan. She is also a member of the international partnership project with Simon Fraser University (Canada) entitled “Comparative Study of Educational Practices for Children with Special Needs.” Her main scientific works focus on education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, pedagogy, educational theory, modernization of educational content, comparative pedagogy, inclusive education, methodological and theoretical foundations, and the development of competencies of future specialists. More than 70 of her articles have been published in national and international journals. She is the author of 5 educational and methodological manuals and 3 monographs, as well as the holder of two copyright certificates. Under her supervision, students and master’s degree candidates have completed diploma and dissertation works. She actively participates in national and international scientific-practical conferences. She has received numerous certificates in modern educational technologies.
