The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, delivered a speech at the solemn meeting dedicated to the adoption of the Constitution, emphasizing that the current course of the country’s development and its future lie in the hands of the younger generation.
The Head of State noted that the Constitution is the fundamental law of the country, the core of state policy, and a guarantee of social stability. According to the President, an educated, responsible, and active young generation will determine Kazakhstan’s successful future.
In addition, the President highlighted the official date of the new Constitution coming into force and announced that Constitution Day will be celebrated annually on March 15 as a national public holiday.
This important document will remain a key pillar aimed at strengthening the principles of a rule-of-law state and protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens.
