On February 23, 2026, the 55th Winter Interregional Athletics Competition was held in the city of Astrakhan.
At this competition, Askar Kaziyev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Education and Initial Military Training at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, demonstrated an excellent result in the 1000-meter race and won second place.
The winners and prize-winners were awarded special certificates and medals by the President of the Astrakhan Region Athletics Federation, Mikhail Grigorievich Volchenkov.
