Information Session on State Educational Grants Held for Graduating Students

An informational meeting on state educational grants was held for graduating students at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

 

The meeting was organized in connection with amendments to Order No. 403 dated August 11, 2023, and the updated Rules approved by Order No. 485 dated October 20, 2025, of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account remarks of the Supreme Audit Chamber.

 

The event, organized by the Career and Internship Office, provided comprehensive information on mandatory work requirements for graduates and master’s students who studied under the state educational grant.

 

Participants discussed the three-year mandatory employment requirement, job placement mechanisms, and specific features of the process. In addition, the cases where exemption from mandatory grant repayment may be granted in accordance with current legislation were explained.

 

One of the key updates highlighted was the simplification of submitting employment information. From now on, employment data will be automatically obtained via the e-Government portal based on SMS notifications from 1414, eliminating the need to submit certificates every six months.

 

Students’ questions were addressed at the conclusion of the session.
