Scientific Seminar “Declaration of Sovereignty: A Historic Document That Marked the Path to Statehood” Held at the University

A scientific seminar titled “Declaration of Sovereignty: A Historic Document That Marked the Path to Statehood” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, organized by the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Faculty of Economics and Law.

During the seminar, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and World History, Adilbek Turdaliyev, delivered a presentation on “The Constitutional and Legal Significance of the Declaration of Sovereignty and Its Impact on the Formation of Independent Kazakhstan’s Legislation.”

PhD, history and religious studies teacher and author of the book “The History of Islam in the Kazakh Steppe,” Yernar Ataulan, presented on “The Continuity Between the Alash Ideology and the 1990 Declaration of Sovereignty.”

Professor Adem Öger of the Department of Turkic Folklore at Hacı Bektaş Veli University (Nevşehir, Türkiye) also addressed the audience, offering warm wishes to the Kazakh people and comparing the shared traditions and folklore of the two brotherly nations.

The seminar was highly informative and valuable for young participants. At the end of the event, students engaged actively by asking questions and sharing their reflections.
