An essay contest on the topic of ethnomediation was held in Atyrau

The Department of Internal Policy of the Atyrau Region, together with the KSU "Qogamdyk Kelisim" and the Mediation Center of H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, organized an essay contest among students on the topic “Ethnomediation: Overcoming Contradictions and Building Unity.”

The purpose of the contest was to promote a constructive outlook among young people on interethnic relations, to enhance the role of ethnomediation in society, and to popularize the values of harmony and unity.

Out of the 21 submitted works, the jury selected the six best essays.
According to the results of the contest:

• 1st place — Aizada Sabidullina, a 3rd-year student of Atyrau University;

• 2nd place — Madina Gaisa and Snezhana Polyakova, students of the Law Enforcement program;

• 3rd place — Akbota Azhgalieva, a 4th-year student, as well as college students Bibiajar Elshatkyzy and Dinara Tleshkyzy.

The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.
The contest contributed to the development of a culture of ethnocultural tolerance, mutual understanding, and peaceful dialogue among young people.
