Atyrau University Hosts International Conference on Innovative Technologies in Science and Education

In the modern era, science and education have become the main pillars of national development. Enhancing the country’s competitiveness through the advancement of science and innovation is a strategic priority. As President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized in his recent Address to the Nation: “Our country is moving toward a knowledge-based economy. Therefore, it is crucial to integrate the management approaches of science, education, and innovation.” This reflects the reality of a new era.

Artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and educational platforms are fundamentally transforming the content of scientific research and teaching today. Science must focus on producing tangible results - patents, new technologies, and innovations applicable in industry. In this regard, integrating digitalization and artificial intelligence into the education system will help strengthen the nation’s intellectual potential.

To support this mission, on October 3, 2025, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, in collaboration with the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held an International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Digital Technologies and Interdisciplinary Approaches to Solving Applied Problems in Science and Education.”

The conference provided a comprehensive discussion of the role of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in modern society and explored practical ways to use these tools effectively. Participants heard presentations from international scholars and exchanged forward-looking ideas aligned with global trends in education and research.

At the conclusion of the event, participants congratulated Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Honorary Citizen of Atyrau Region, Yersaiyn Ualitkhanuly Ikhsanov, on his 75th anniversary, extending their warmest wishes and appreciation for his contributions to science and education.
