First Meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council in the New Academic Year

On September 17, 2025, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University held the first meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council for the new academic year.

The agenda of the meeting included the following issues:

• Election of the new membership of the Scientific and Technical Council for the 2025-2026 academic year;

• Review and discussion of monographs;

• Miscellaneous matters (approval of the Chairperson of the Council of Young Scientists for the 2025-2026 academic year; approval of candidates recommended as “Lecturer-Researcher” and “Researcher” based on the conclusions of expert reviewers).

As a result, the new membership of the Scientific and Technical Council was elected and approved.

The following monographs were reviewed and discussed:

“Humorous Discourse and Features of its Stylistic Implementation in Literature” (authors: L.B. Alekeshova, G.M. Ishanova, V.D. Kurmangaliyeva), supervised by Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences L.B. Alekeshova, Department of Russian Philology, Faculty of Multilingual Education;

“Facial-Paleographic Features of Paleogene Deposits of the Syrdarya Depression and Related Mineral Resources” by Senior Lecturer A.Z. Zhumagaziyev, Department of Geography and Tourism, Faculty of Natural Sciences;

“Modern Concepts of the Nature of Chemical Bonding: From Ionic to Metallic Bond” by Associate Professor, Candidate of Chemical Sciences A.S. Kalauova, and Senior Lecturer, Master of Science I.K. Kuanyshbek, Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.

 

All monographs were supported by the council members.

In addition, candidates recommended in accordance with the Quality Management System conclusion No. 217 (dated March 30, 2023) under the categories “Lecturer-Researcher” and “Researcher” were approved.

Based on the proposal of the Council of Young Scientists, the Chairperson for the 2025-2026 academic year was confirmed. Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics, PhD M.E. Rakhmetov, was elected as the Chairperson.
