Diplomas Awarded to Graduates of the Faculty of Natural Sciences

At Kh. Dosmukhametov Atyrau University, a solemn diploma awarding ceremony was held for the 2024–2025 graduates of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

Established 85 years ago, the faculty has trained thousands of students in the fields of natural sciences, education, and agriculture. Today, its alumni are successfully employed across various sectors, including schools and production enterprises. Over 30 of its graduates have pursued scientific careers and earned doctoral or candidate of science degrees.

This year, 150 graduates in Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Geography, History, Tourism, and Fisheries received their diplomas and are now stepping into the next stage of life.

The event was attended by university leadership, faculty members, and the graduates’ families, who extended their warm wishes to the students.

“Today is another special day for our university. On the eve of our university’s 85th anniversary, we are holding the diploma awarding ceremony for students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. On behalf of the entire university community, I congratulate all our graduates! I consider this faculty one of the key drivers of the university’s scientific potential. I extend my gratitude to the faculty members who have guided our students on the path to science,”

said Rector Salamat Idrissov in his address.

During the ceremony, students who actively participated in social and community life, volunteers, and winners of regional and national competitions received letters of appreciation from the university rector, the faculty dean, the mayor of Atyrau, the “AMANAT” party, and the Regional Department of Internal Policy.

One of the most memorable moments of the event was the presentation of Reserve Lieutenant ranks to graduates who had successfully completed the university’s military training program.

The ceremony concluded with heartfelt speeches from graduates and their parents, leaving a lasting impression on all in attendance.
