Diplomas Awarded to Graduates of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts

A solemn diploma awarding ceremony was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, an institution with an 85-year legacy, for graduates of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts.

The Faculty of Humanities and Arts is one of the oldest faculties of Atyrau University. It was originally established in 1950 as part of the Faculty of Philology and Geography. Dedicated to improving the quality of humanitarian, pedagogical, and social education, the faculty has trained highly qualified, competitive professionals. This year, the faculty graduated 180 students.

The event was attended by university leadership, professors, graduates, and their proud parents.

“Dear graduates, parents, and esteemed faculty! Four years ago, you entered our university as students - today, you leave as young professionals. We believe that during these years, you have gained all the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in your careers. On behalf of myself and the entire Atyrau University community, I wish you great success in this new chapter of your life. Congratulations on your diplomas!”

said Rector Salamat Idrissov in his congratulatory speech.

In the first part of the ceremony, master’s graduates and bachelor’s students majoring in History, Journalism, Music, and Traditional Instruments were awarded diplomas. Students who actively participated in public and cultural activities, volunteers, and winners of regional and national competitions received letters of appreciation from the university rector, the mayor of Atyrau, the “AMANAT” Party, and the Regional Department of Internal Policy. In addition, a special recognition ceremony was held for students who completed military training and received the rank of Reserve Lieutenant.

In the second part of the event, diplomas were presented to graduates of the Departments of Music and Art and Fine Arts and Design.

The evening concluded with words of gratitude from graduates and parents, followed by performances of the songs “Studenttik Omir” and “Sayakhat.”

Atyrau University has once again sent off a new generation of skilled and socially valuable professionals. We wish our graduates a bright future, creative fulfillment, and professional success!
