Beibit Baimagambetuly Mamrayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, visited the university to familiarise himself with ongoing research projects and modern laboratories equipped with advanced technology.
During meetings with researchers working in the laboratories, he emphasised the need to make effective use of the existing material and technical facilities, improve the quality of scientific research and achieve tangible results. He also shared his proposals for further strengthening the university’s research capacity and improving its infrastructure.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors also met with Mark Berry and Carl Berry, professors from the United Kingdom who were invited to the university, and exchanged views with them on their academic and research activities at Atyrau University.
He also spoke with students who were working with the visiting professors, emphasising the importance of striving for excellence in education and science, making effective use of international experience and maintaining a consistent focus on professional development.
At the end of the visit, he stressed the importance of further improving the quality of education while strengthening efforts to develop students’ research and creative potential, and issued relevant instructions.
