A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University was held. The meeting was chaired by Beibit Baimagambetuly Mamrayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
During the meeting, the Board heard a report by Salamat Idrissov, Chairman of the Board – Rector, on the work carried out in 2025. The report provided an overview of the university’s key areas of activity, completed initiatives and achievements over the past year.
The Board of Directors also considered applications from candidates who participated in the competition for the positions of Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy and Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at Atyrau University. The candidates’ strategic development plans were presented and discussed.
Following the meeting, the Board of Directors supported and recommended for appointment Lyaila Koishygulova, who has been serving as Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy, and Bakyt Altynbasov for the position of Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation.
The meeting also addressed the establishment of the position of Ombudsman of the University. The University Ombudsman will be responsible for protecting the rights and legitimate interests of students and employees, considering their requests and concerns, and contributing to the fair and transparent resolution of issues that may arise. Aidana Bakytova was considered as a candidate for the position and recommended for appointment.
The meeting outlined the university’s further development priorities and identified key objectives aimed at advancing education and science and improving management efficiency.
