On April 8, 2026, the plenary session of the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Researchers entitled “Youth and Science” was held at H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
The session was opened by the Rector of the University, Salamat Nurmukhanovich Idrissov, who presented awards to students and their academic supervisors for their active participation in research projects and academic competitions.
Among those recognized from the Department of Russian Philology were students of the Russian Language and Literature educational program: Venera Ruslanovna Eskali, Diana Alekseevna Erofeeva, Aigerim Bulatovna Keldibayeva, and their academic supervisor, Senior Lecturer Alexandra Eduardovna Karpova. They were awarded for winning first place in the Student Research Competition held in 2025 at the Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University.
First place in the university-level Student Research Competition was awarded to second-year students of the Russian Language and Literature educational program, Akerke Zhanabayeva and Aelita Kassymova. Their academic supervisor was Nurgul Balkhashevna Kairliyeva.
In addition, first-degree diplomas were awarded to the winners of the university-level Student Research Competition, Nurai Sterikova and Aruzhan Bakarova, students of the educational program Russian Language and Literature in Schools with Russian and Non-Russian Languages of Instruction, together with their academic supervisor Alexandra Eduardovna Karpova. They secured first place at the university stage of the competition.
The Department of Russian Philology congratulates the students and their academic supervisors on these outstanding achievements and wishes them continued success in their academic and research endeavors.
