The IV Forum of the Eurasian Network University Scientific and Educational Consortium was held in the city of Astrakhan. The large-scale international event was co-organized and hosted by V. N. Tatishchev Astrakhan State University. The forum brought together representatives of the Eurasian Economic Union countries and foreign partners interested in developing a unified scientific and educational space, strengthening international cooperation, and implementing joint projects.
Today, the Eurasian Network University includes 41 higher educational institutions from various countries, and the consortium continues to actively expand its network. The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization of our university, Bakhyt Omirkhanuly Altynbassov.
During the forum session, participants discussed the draft intergovernmental agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Network University and summarized the results of the ENU-2026 Olympiad. In addition, opportunities for expanding international cooperation in education, science, and academic mobility were considered.
Special attention was paid to the development of joint educational programs, implementation of research projects, promotion of dual-degree programs, and strengthening cooperation among universities of the consortium member countries.
As part of the forum, the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization of our university, Bakhyt Omirkhanuly Altynbassov, held a number of negotiations with representatives of leading universities and scientific organizations. Among them were Magtymguly Turkmen State University, S. A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies, as well as Inderprastha Engineering College.
During the meetings, the parties discussed further development of cooperation between our university and foreign partners. In particular, priority was given to strengthening collaboration in the areas of academic mobility, development of joint educational programs, scientific research, and implementation of international projects.
Overall, the forum became an important platform for exchanging experience, discussing modern trends in higher education development, and strengthening international partnership. The Eurasian Network University continues to contribute to the formation of a unified educational space by expanding opportunities for academic exchange, joint scientific research, and the training of highly qualified specialists of a new generation.
