Military Department Graduates Take the Oath of Allegiance

Graduating students of the Military Department at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, trained under the reserve officer and reserve sergeant programs, solemnly took the Military Oath of Allegiance.

 

The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Atyrau Regional Branch of the Veterans of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Reserve Colonel A. Shmanov; Deputy Chairman of the Atyrau Regional Branch of Afghan War Veterans, Reserve Major T. Shakirov; Head of the Joint Department for Defense Affairs of Atyrau City of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant Colonel K. Zhunisbekov; as well as the students’ parents.

In his opening remarks, Head of the Military Department, Reserve Colonel R. Naurzbekov, emphasized the significance of the Military Oath, noting that taking the oath represents a solemn pledge of unwavering service to one’s country, land, and people. He highlighted that the Military Oath is not merely a set of words, but a symbol of loyalty to the Motherland, courage, and honor, expressing confidence that the graduates will become highly qualified specialists and true patriots contributing to the nation’s development.

Following the oath-taking ceremony, invited guests addressed the audience. Members of the department’s academic staff were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the veterans’ organization in recognition of their contribution to the military-patriotic education of youth.

The ceremony concluded with demonstrations by the young soldiers, including hand-to-hand combat techniques and a ceremonial drill performance, after which participants took commemorative photographs.
