Renowned Mathematician Askar Zhumadildayev Met with Atyrau Students

A meeting with distinguished scientist Askar Zhumadildayev was held at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. He is the Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, professor, academician, and recipient of the title Hero of Labour of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by university faculty members, students, and pupils of the Ustaz School. During the meeting, Askar Serkululy shared insightful thoughts about his scientific journey, the importance of mathematics, and the expectations placed on young scientists.

Askar Zhumadildayev was born in 1956 in the Shieli District. He is a world-renowned mathematician who has made a significant contribution to the development of national science. In addition to his achievements in science, he has also played an active role in the country’s social and political life.

It is worth noting that this was the academician’s second visit to the university. Previously, he participated in and delivered a presentation at the international scientific conference dedicated to current issues in physical and mathematical sciences, traditionally held once every three years.

As part of the meeting, by decision of the University Academic Council, Askar Zhumadildayev was awarded the title of “Honorary Professor” of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

At the end of the event, participants expressed confidence that the academician’s lecture would inspire the younger generation toward science and research.
