An OPEN AIR event titled “ Artyq bílím kítapta…” was held at the Abai Center square to mark the opening of the National Book Day week.
Students of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University actively participated in the event.
During the event, the importance of books in society was widely promoted, and engaging programs aimed at encouraging reading culture were organized. Visitors were presented with book exhibitions such as “The Latest for You,” “One Country - One Book,” “One Region - One Writer,” and “The Master of the Word,” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Rakhymzhan Otarbayev. In addition, a photo gallery titled “From the Life of the Library” was showcased.
As part of the exhibition “Volunteering is a Matter of the Heart,” participants engaged in discussions with volunteer youth. Children enjoyed exhibitions such as “New Book - New World,” interactive games “Journey into the World of Books,” QR quizzes, educational activities, and master classes that increased their interest in reading.
In the literary salon, local poets and writers gave autographs and held meaningful discussions. The city’s Academic Zimanov Book House LLP and KITAP AL Bookstore also participated by organizing a book fair.
