A meaningful educational meeting titled “Zhádiger kórseń zhinai zhúr” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University for students of the “Ustaz” boarding school and first-year History majors.
The event was conducted by museum specialists - Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Bayansulu Tynybayeva and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Shakhman Nagimov.
During the meeting, renowned historian, local studies expert, and Professor Shakhman Nagimov presented in detail a museum exhibition dedicated to the university’s history, consisting of 12 themes and 23 sections. He spoke extensively about valuable artifacts and historical materials, answering questions from the audience.
The event continued at the university’s Scientific Library, where a presentation showcased the institution’s development - from its establishment in 1940 as the Guryev Teachers Institute to its present-day achievements.
At the end of the meeting, participants were presented with special museum brochures. In addition, a proposal was made to collect and donate valuable artifacts preserved by distinguished alumni and veterans who have contributed to education, science, and upbringing, in order to enrich the museum’s collection.
The participants expressed their appreciation for the event and noted that they would like such meetings to be held more frequently, emphasizing that they gained a wealth of new knowledge.
