An environmental scientific and practical lecture titled “Clean Kazakhstan - A Guarantee of the Future” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
The lecture focused on biodiversity conservation and fire safety issues within the territory of the Akzhaiyk State Nature Reserve.
The event was attended by specialists from the Akzhaiyk State Nature Reserve:
- Nazerke Talgatkyzy Makhmetova, Head of the Science and Monitoring Department;
- Zhanerke Bauyrzhanovna Azhigaliyeva, Researcher and Theriologist of the Science and Monitoring Department;
- Gulmarzhan Beimbetkyzy Beimbetova, Protection Engineer of the Department for Protection, Reproduction of Natural Complexes, and Nature Management.
First and second-year students of the educational programs Applied Ecology, Ecoanalytics, and Waste Management participated in the lecture.
During the meeting, students received important information on environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and fire safety, and actively exchanged views.
