A Scientific and Methodological Seminar Was Held

A scientific and methodological seminar titled “Approaches to Writing Scientific Papers Based on Academic Writing” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
The seminar was organized to support the professional development of university faculty, enhance their research skills, and provide knowledge of academic writing fundamentals, including key requirements for writing scientific articles, reports, and dissertations. Faculty members of Atyrau University actively participated in the event.
The seminar speaker was Edilbai Ospanov, Professor of Abai Kazakh National University, Candidate of Philological Sciences, and a graduate of the “Bolashak” program. He is the author of several academic writing manuals and an experienced specialist in developing teaching methodologies in this field for higher education institutions.
During the seminar, participants received comprehensive information on the structure of scientific texts, types of essays, topic selection for research, avoiding plagiarism, citation styles, and issues of academic integrity. The program also included an exchange of experiences in writing essays, scientific articles, and dissertations.
The seminar was held at a high level and contributed to the development of academic writing culture in the scientific community, as well as to the improvement of faculty members’ scientific literacy.
