“Ustazdyn Uldary – Ulysty Ulyktauda”

A festive event titled “Ustazdyn Uldary – Ulysty Ulyktauda” was held at the “Ustaz” boarding school for gifted children, established under the Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
The event, dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz, aimed to promote national traditions and arts. It brought together students, parents, and teachers of the “Ustaz” boarding school.
Among the guests were Deputy Akim of Atyrau city, Nurzhan Yermukhanov, and Chairman of the Board – Rector of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, Salamat Idrissov, who extended their congratulations on the occasion. In his speech, Rector Salamat Idrissov noted:
“After gaining independence, many men shifted to industrial sectors, resulting in a significant increase in the number of female teachers in schools. When establishing the ‘Ustaz’ school, our goal was to nurture dedicated citizens who would contribute to the development of the national education system. We believe that our graduates will return and serve their native region. I warmly congratulate all parents, the school staff, and students on the spring holiday of Nauryz!”
During the event, participants were divided into seven teams, each representing a district with its unique characteristics. They presented theatrical performances in national costumes, performed traditional kui music, sang folk songs, and recited literary pieces. An intellectual quiz focused on the meaning of Nauryz and Kazakh traditions was also held, identifying the most knowledgeable participants.
A test of strength and spirit took place during the national sports stage, featuring competitions in kettlebell lifting and arm wrestling.
In the traditional cuisine contest, which celebrated the Kazakh culture of hospitality, each team offered guests national dishes such as nauryz kozhe, baursak, kumys, and more.
At the end of the event, active participants were awarded, and the organizers expressed gratitude to everyone involved. The celebration became a symbol of spring renewal, unity, and harmony, allowing all attendees to feel the warmth of the new year.
