March 19 - Day of Renewal

Today marks the sixth day of Nauryznama - the Day of Renewal, symbolizing the awakening of nature and the beginning of a new cycle of life. As spring brings fresh greenery and budding trees, this day reminds us of the importance of nurturing and protecting our environment.
There is a wise Kazakh saying: “Better to inherit a tree than livestock from your father.” Planting a tree is a noble act not just for one region, but for the entire country. The more greenery we have, the cleaner the environment and the more renewed our nature becomes.
Every year, the faculty and students of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University take care of the environment by planting trees and whitening their trunks. This initiative not only contributes to improving the ecosystem but also fosters love and a sense of responsibility toward nature among young people.
Caring for nature is a significant step toward the future. Every tree planted is a priceless legacy for the generations to come. May this wonderful tradition, started on the Day of Renewal, continue for years to come.
