Teacher’s work - the nation’s prosperity

At Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, a gratitude evening titled “Teacher’s work - the nation’s prosperity” was held in honor of the university’s 85th anniversary and the Day of Gratitude, celebrated on March 1.
The event, organized by the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Information Technology, brought together veteran teachers who had dedicated many years to educating students, university leadership, faculty members, alumni, and students.
During the event, university representatives emphasized the crucial role of teachers in education and upbringing, highlighting that the institution’s significant achievements were made possible thanks to their dedication. “The Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Information Technology has become one of the leading faculties in the history of Atyrau University, maintaining its high standards for 85 years. Our esteemed veteran teachers have played a major role in this success. We express our gratitude to those who have contributed to the faculty’s development, as well as to our current colleagues!” said Laila Koishygulova, Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy.
The event continued with congratulatory speeches from the faculty’s graduates, dedicated to veteran teachers. They expressed their gratitude to their mentors, who had enriched them with knowledge, and emphasized the importance of the teaching profession. The graduates also shared their achievements, which they had attained thanks to the education they received at the university.
“Working in the field of education requires great effort and perseverance. We are infinitely grateful to the veteran teachers who have trained and nurtured the majority of educators in the Atyrau region! We take pride in having received our education at this institution and in serving the country’s benefit today,” said Aibol Doldashov, Executive Secretary of the Makat District Branch of the “AMANAT” Party.
During the evening, veteran teachers and long-serving university staff who had contributed to the institution’s development were given special recognition. Veterans and graduates were presented with commemorative gifts, and talented students delighted the audience with musical performances.
At the end of the event, veteran teachers shared warm memories, highlighting that such meaningful gatherings further strengthen the continuity of education and upbringing, and expressed their gratitude to the university staff.
