The research of Academician E. Buketov in the field of metallurgy and chemical technology was discussed

A round table on the topic “The Research of Academician E. Buketov in the Field of Metallurgy and Chemical Technology” was held at the Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
The event was attended by professorial-teaching staff and master’s students from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, as well as representatives from educational institutions in the Atyrau region.
“Evney Buketov is not only an outstanding scientist in the field of natural sciences, but also a person who contributed to literature. He was a subtle translator of the works of I. Vasilenko and S. Yesenin, wrote critical articles about novels and performances, and became an outstanding publicist,” said Arman Zhumagaziyev, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
First-year master’s students from the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology presented informative reports on the following topics: “Biography of E.A. Buketov,” “Translations of E.A. Buketov,” “Personal Qualities of E.A. Buketov,” “Life and Scientific Contribution of E.A. Buketov,” “Life and Work of E.A. Buketov,” and “Research by Academician E.A. Buketov in the Field of Metallurgy and Chemical Technology.”
At the end of the event, participants exchanged opinions on the presented reports and discussed the topics, congratulating E. Buketov on his 100th anniversary.
