Symposium "Saraishyk - the heritage of ancestors" was held
The first day of the symposium within the framework of the project "Saraishyk - the heritage of ancestors" was held at the Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov. The event, organized jointly by the Astana city branch of the "International Society of the Kazakh Language" and the Department of Fine Arts and Design of Atyrau University, was attended by representatives of the media, non-governmental organizations, representatives of public organizations and government agencies, artists, teachers and students.
The project "Saraishyk - the heritage of ancestors" is an important event aimed at modernizing the history of Saraishyk, its research and popularization on a scientific basis. The goal of the project is to open the way to new research in the use of the possibilities of painting, fine art and sculpture in recognizing and promoting the history of the sacred city, to use works of art in the patriotic education of the younger generation, to promote the improvement of the skills and professional qualifications of local artists.
"We are witnessing a wonderful event. In general, I am pleased with the events in which the students took part. Seeing such events, young people strive to develop our work further. Within the framework of the project, wonderful works are created that represent a world-famous place full of historical facts, not only through the eyes of historians, but also through the eyes of artists. Everything is going well, congratulations! Good luck at the symposium!" - said Tolegen Orynbasarauly, head of the Museum of Applied Decorative Arts named after Sh. Sariyev, Atyrau Region.
The project, which involved around 300 participants, saw artist-scientists share their experiences, present new ideas and develop a joint strategy for action to promote art and preserve our cultural heritage.
The two-day event was attended by the head of the Astana city branch of the International Public Association "Kazakh Language" Larisa Aldabergenova, the head of the Atyrau Regional Museum of Arts and Applied Arts named after Shaimardan Sariyev Tolegen Orynbasaruly, deputy director of the Republican Museum-Reserve "Saraishyk", candidate of historical sciences, researcher of the museum-reserve "Saraishyk" Ulzhan Tolegenkyzy, head of the creative team, senior teacher Gadylbek Muratuly, international consultant on public relations and media, art critic Aizhan Kushkenova, winner of the "Talented Youth" award, laureate of the Bolashak scholarship program, media and public activists, such as researcher, founder of the Kazunite company in America Nazira Baiyrbekova, made presentations and shared their proposals.
"While studying in America, I am writing a dissertation on decolonization. I realized that my topic is directly related to the project and I was interested. Through the project, you are trying to modernize the consciousness of the younger generation. This leads to spiritual growth and maturity of people. If you have ideas to organize a project together with US scientists, I am ready to help! In general, I like the progress and relevance of the project," said Nazira Baiyrbekova, media researcher and founder of Kazunite in America. Following the event, the participants of the meeting exchanged opinions and were informed about the activities that will be implemented on the second day of the symposium.
