The role of Alkey Margulan in the development of Kazakhstan science
On November 15, a round table on the topic “The Role of A.Kh. Margulan in the Development of Kazakh Science” was held at the Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the birth of the archaeologist, academician Alkey Margulan.
At the round table organized by the Department of History of Kazakhstan and the World, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Ulzhan Akhmetova - "Research of A. Margulan in Saraishyk: based on archival documents", 1st year student of the Master's degree program in historical and pedagogical education Nurzhamal Nauryzova - "Alkey Margulan and the formation of Kazakhstani archeology: research and news", senior researcher of the state historical and cultural museum-reserve "Saraishyk", archaeologist Zhunis Baigaliyev - "Iconography and epigraphy of medieval coins of Saraishyk: cultural and historical significance", Dauren Kuandykov, 2nd year master's student of the historical and pedagogical educational program - "Saraishyk in the studies of the cultural heritage of Alkey Margulan", 4th year student Aida Galymzhanovna - "Alkey Margulan - the founder of Shokantanu", 2nd year student Nursila Adilova -» The report presents the results of an archaeological study and exploratory experiment conducted in the medieval city of Saraishyk.
The round table was moderated by Amangeldy Zainov, senior lecturer at the Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov. At the end of the meeting, the participants asked questions to the speakers and discussed their proposals.
