Legal Culture Through the Eyes of Youth

A conference titled “The Future of Law and Order Through the Eyes of Youth” was held at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University within the framework of the “Law and Order” initiative. The event was organized in cooperation with the Atyrau Regional Police Department.

 

The main goal was to promote legal awareness among young people, strengthen the rule of law, and emphasize the importance of public order.

 

Among the speakers were:

• Police Captain Dauren Mukhanbetaliyev (Cybercrime Unit)

• Police Major Aibol Idrissov (Anti-Drug Unit)

• Police Captain Aigerim Orakbayeva (Domestic Violence Prevention Unit)

 

The event was moderated by Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy Lyaila Yerbolatkyzy.

 

Students actively participated with presentations, including:

• Dana Makhambet - “Active Leadership Prevents Offenses”

• Nurbibi Bisembayeva - “Legal Culture in Social Media”

• Elvira Adilova - “Preventive Work Among Youth”

• Diana Dauletova - shared her perspective

 

Participants discussed issues such as violence, drug-related crimes, internet fraud, dropping schemes, and stalking. Law enforcement representatives provided real-life examples and explained legal responsibilities and prevention strategies.

 

The session concluded with an open dialogue where students asked questions and received practical, experience-based answers.
