A Milestone of Science and Wisdom: Honoring Two Professors at Atyrau University

A ceremonial extended meeting of the Academic Council dedicated to the jubilees of two distinguished scholars was held at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. The event honored Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Amangeldi Dulatuly Sariev, and Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Sofia Zulkarnaykyzy Sagyndykova, for their outstanding contributions to science and education.

 

The meeting was opened by Chairman of the Board - Rector Salamat Idrissov, who highlighted the honorees’ long-standing dedication and significant role in the development of the university.

 

During the ceremony, special awards from regional authorities were presented:

• By decision of the Akim of Atyrau Region Serik Shapkenov and Chairman of the Regional Maslikhat Musa Oteshov, Professor Sagyndykova was awarded the Certificate of Honor of Atyrau Region for her long-term contribution to education and science.

• Chairman of the Atyrau Regional Veterans Council Murat Oteshov awarded Professor Sariev the title “Honored Veteran of Atyrau Region”, while Professor Sagyndykova received the “Khiuaz Dospanova” badge.

 

Representatives of S. Utebayev Atyrau Oil and Gas University also delivered congratulatory remarks and presented letters of appreciation on behalf of Rector Gulzada Shakulikova.

 

Prominent scholars from Kazakhstan and abroad participated both offline and online, including Professor Ainash Nauanova (Astana), Professor Gulzhan Senkina (Smolensk, Russia), Professor Altynbek Sharipbayev (Astana), Candidate of Sciences Galym Sydykov (Almaty), Professor Khudaverdi Ganbarov (Baku, Azerbaijan), Academician Amankeldi Sadanov, and University professors Kosybek Irzagaliyev, Shakhman Nagymuly, Ersaiyn Ualitkhanuly, and Beket Kenzhegulov also expressed their congratulations..

 

The event also emphasized that this respected family is not only a symbol of scientific excellence but also of strong family values, having raised four children and now enjoying the next generation.

 

The milestone of these two professors - who successfully combined dedication to science with family harmony - was celebrated at a high level.
