An online guest lecture on “AI Technologies in Journalism: Reality and Prospects” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University for students of the Department of Journalism and Public Relations.
The lecture was delivered by Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, and Head of the Department of Journalism and Media Communications at V.N. Tatishchev Astrakhan State University - Galina Sergeevna Belolipskaya.
During her presentation, the lecturer covered in detail the modern possibilities of using artificial intelligence in journalism, paying special attention to the issues of automating the creation of news content, text editing, fact-checking, headline generation, video editing, and voice synthesis.
Participants showed particular interest in practical examples of AI integration in modern newsrooms and discussions on the future of journalism in the context of digital media transformation.
The session was moderated by Candidate of Philological Sciences and academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio - Manshuk Tynyshkaliyevna Mukasheva, who emphasized the importance of integrating new technologies into education and professional training.
