Biography
Kaziev Karas Orzhanuly is a PhD Doctor and Associate Professor. He was born on September 27, 1983, in Balabeit settlement, Zhasqairat village, Kyzylkoga District, Atyrau Region.
In 2000, he graduated from the Zhanasharua Kazakh Secondary School in Konystanu village, Kyzylkoga District, Atyrau Region. In 2001, he entered Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University, majoring in “Pedagogy and Psychology,” and in 2005 received the qualification of “Pedagogue-Psychologist.”
From 2005 to 2008, he worked as a lecturer in “Pedagogy” and “Psychology” at K. Dutbayeva Atyrau Humanitarian College.
From 2008 to 2011, he worked as a trainee lecturer and senior lecturer (Master) at the Department of Psychology, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University.
From 2011 to 2017, he served as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Pedagogy and Arts.
From 2017 to 2020, he studied in the PhD doctoral program (6D010300 – Pedagogy and Psychology) at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. In 2020, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation titled “Scientific Foundations of Developing Reflection in Future Pedagogue-Psychologists” and was awarded the PhD degree.
Since 2020, he has been acting Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology and Special Education at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, PhD Doctor. Since 2022, he has been Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy at the same university.
In 2025, by order of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.
He is a member of the Republican Public Association “Kazakh Psychological Society.”
He is the author of more than 50 scientific publications on current issues of pedagogy and psychology, including 8 articles indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, 1 monograph, 2 textbooks, 1 teaching-methodological manual, 5 copyright certificates, and 1 elective course.
