Biography

Imangalieva Saltanat Zhenisovna (born on September 28, 1983, Kulsary, Zhylyoi District, Atyrau Region) graduated from Secondary School No. 12 named after F. Dosymova in Atyrau in 2000. In 2000, she entered Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University with a major in “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” and graduated from the university in 2004 with the qualification of a teacher of a foreign language (English). In 2019, she successfully completed her Master’s degree and defended her Master’s thesis titled “Pedagogical Conditions for the Formation of Students’ Research Activities under the Credit System of Education,” receiving a Master’s degree in the specialty 6M010300 — “Pedagogy and Psychology.” Since September 2004 up to the present time, she has been working at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University at the Department of Translation Studies and Foreign Languages as a Master and Senior Lecturer. At present, the work experience amounts to 20 years. Currently, at the undergraduate level she teaches the following courses: Basic Foreign Language (levels A1, B1, B2), Consecutive Interpreting Technology, and Practice of Translating Construction Texts. In February, she participated offline in the 11th International Paris Congress on Social Sciences and Humanities held from February 5 to 9 in Paris, France, presenting a report titled “Accounting for Non-equivalents in Legal Terminology: A Multidisciplinary Approach.”
