Biography

Mukhanbetzhanova Akmaral Utepbergenovna is a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor. In 1988–1992, she graduated with honors from the Atyrau Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology. From 1995 to 1998, she pursued postgraduate studies at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. In 1999, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in the specialty 13.00.01 — “General Pedagogy, Ethnopedagogy, and History of Education,” and in 2011, she defended her doctoral dissertation in Pedagogical Sciences. In 2010, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in Pedagogy. In 2012, under the international “Bolashak” program, she completed a scientific internship at Montreux Business School in Switzerland. In 2017, she became the recipient of the “Best University Teacher” grant awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2018, within the framework of the “Educational Management” program, she completed an international internship entitled “Qualitätsmanagement im Bildungswesen” at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany. In 2018, she served as a member of the commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan responsible for reviewing the results of expertise and pilot testing of textbooks, educational-methodological complexes, and teaching aids, for which she received a letter of appreciation from the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2020, she has been an expert of a specialized independent accreditation agency. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Independent Expert Commission approved by the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Selection of Candidates for Study Abroad” and has received letters of appreciation from the International Programs Center JSC. As a participant in the international partnership project “Comparative Study of Educational Experiences of Children with Special Needs,” implemented jointly with Simon Fraser University (Canada), she exchanged research experience in Canada, Turkey, Jordan, and the United States during 2023–2024. The main scientific works of A. Mukhanbetzhanova are devoted to the modernization of the content of primary education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, integration of primary education, methodological and theoretical foundations of education, design of primary education content, and the formation of competencies among primary school students. She is the author of more than 100 scientific publications published in international and central Kazakhstani journals, as well as 2 monographs, 15 textbooks and teaching aids, and electronic textbooks. She is a member of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council under the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University and a member of the Academic Council of Atyrau University. She is also a member of the Amanat Party.
