Yerkin Satashuly Koyangaliev

Biography

Yerkin Satashuly Koyangaliev is a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, member of the Eurasian Designers Union, and holder of the honorary title “Honored Designer of the Eurasian Union.” He is affiliated with H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. He was born on September 19, 1972. From 1989 to 1994, he studied at A.S. Pushkin Ural Pedagogical Institute (awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor), Faculty of Art and Graphics, where he qualified as a teacher of fine arts, technical drawing, and labor education. In 2011, he was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences by the Committee for Control in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2019 to 2021, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Automation and Control from the Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Telecommunication Systems. He began his professional career in 1994 at H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University as a lecturer at the Department of Primary Education Pedagogy. Later, he worked as a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Fine Arts, Drawing, and Design (2001–2004; 2015–2019). He has extensive teaching experience and has made a significant contribution to the training of specialists in art education. His academic interests include art education, pedagogy, design, and the development of professional competencies, as well as the implementation of innovative approaches in the educational process. He supervises student research projects, serves as a scientific consultant for school teachers, and participates as an expert in regional and national academic competitions. He continuously improves his professional qualifications by participating in programs organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, training courses at Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, and programs in inclusive education, academic writing, and modern pedagogical technologies. He also participated in sculpture and painting workshops within the “Saraishyk – Heritage of the Ancestors” project. For his long-standing academic and professional contributions, he has received several awards, including a Letter of Appreciation from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2014), a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Culture and Archives (2015), the Ybyrai Altynsarin badge (2017), and a Letter of Appreciation from the Nur Otan party (2021).
