Gulssara Zholamanovna Kairova

Gulssara Zholamanovna Kairova is a Master’s degree holder and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Journalism and Public Relations. She was born on December 13, 1968, in Rakusha village, Atyrau region. From 1986 to 1991, she studied at the Faculty of Journalism of S.M. Kirov Kazakh State University. She began her professional career in 1991 as an executive secretary at the district newspaper Kaspiy tany. From 1993 to 1995, she worked as an editor at regional television; from 1995 to 1996, she served as head of a department at the Akiqat zholy newspaper under the regional Department of Justice. From 1996 to 2001, she worked as a chief specialist at the Atyrau city administration. Between 2001 and 2020, she worked as a correspondent and translator at the regional newspaper Ak Zhaiyk, gaining extensive professional experience. Since 2020, she has been working at H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, currently holding the position of Senior Lecturer at the Department of Journalism and Public Relations. Her academic interests include modern journalism, media literacy, and digital communication. Academic and professional activity: She actively participates in international and national scientific conferences. In 2025, she presented a paper titled “Formation of Turkic World Unity through Information Integration” at an international conference in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. In 2025, she was awarded a medal at an international scientific conference in Karakalpakstan.
