Biography

Galimzhan Togaibayuly Kabylkhamitov (born December 11, 1964, Guryev city). He studied at the Republican Physics and Mathematics School in Almaty (1978–1982). He graduated from Novosibirsk State University named after the Lenin Komsomol, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, majoring in Applied Mathematics (1982–1989). Since 2004 he has been an Academic Associate Professor at the Department of Higher Mathematics of the Atyrau Institute of Oil and Gas. In 2010 he defended his PhD dissertation at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty) on the topic “Approximate methods for solving problems of non-isothermal filtration with a free boundary” and received the academic degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. In 2014 he worked as an Academic Professor at the Department of Mathematics and General Education Disciplines of the Atyrau Engineering and Humanities Institute. Since 2019 he has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Methods of Teaching Mathematics at Atyrau State University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov. More than 20 scientific articles have been published in national and international journals. Awards and honors: • Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1993); • Anniversary Medal “25 Years of the Atyrau Institute of Oil and Gas” (2005); • Letter of Appreciation from the Minister of Education and Science E.K. Sagadiyev (2016); • Medal named after Y. Altynsarin (2016).
