Biography
Azamat Abilkairovich Kenzhebayev is a Candidate of Philosophical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism and Public Relations. He was born in 1963 in Guryev (now Atyrau), Kazakhstan.
In 1985, he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and Economics at S.M. Kirov Kazakh State University (now Al-Farabi Kazakh National University).
Since 1985, he has been working at H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. Over the years, he has held various responsible positions, including Secretary of the Komsomol Committee of Guryev Pedagogical Institute (1986–1987) and Head of Department at the Regional Office for Information and Public Accord (1998). In 2010, he served as Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines.
Between 2001 and 2004, he completed postgraduate studies at the Institute of Philosophy and Political Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2005, he defended his candidate dissertation on “Socio-Philosophical Analysis of the Phenomenon of Social Conflict.”
From 2006 to 2009, he participated in a research project funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan on labor migration and national security in the context of sustainable development.
His research interests include social philosophy, philosophy of conflict, conflictology, migration processes, and the sociodynamics of culture.
He has been awarded departmental and university honors for his long-standing professional contributions.
