Azamat Turaliev Kuatuly

Azamat Turaliev is a Master’s degree holder and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Journalism and Public Relations, Faculty of Humanities and Arts, H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. He was born on June 24, 1988, in Kulsary, Zhylyoi District, Atyrau region. In 2006, he graduated from Secondary School No. 9 named after Makarenko. In the same year, he enrolled in the Faculty of Journalism at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, majoring in Publishing and Editing. In 2010, he completed his studies and obtained a Master’s degree in Periodical Press and Electronic Media. He began his professional career in 2012 as a correspondent for the newspaper Almaty Akshamy. From 2014 to 2016, he worked as an editor at the “Atameken” publishing house. In 2017, he served as executive editor of the agricultural internet portal Agrobiz.kz. In 2018, he completed an internship in the news department of the Almaty branch of the National TV channel of Kazakhstan and worked in television. From 2018 to 2022, he worked as a correspondent and editor in the Public Relations Department of the “Damu” Industrial and Logistics Center in Almaty region. In 2023, he worked as a correspondent at the Regional Communications Service of Atyrau region and later, from May 2023, as an editor at Caspian News TV channel. Since September 2023, he has been serving as Director of the Media Center and specialist at H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. Since 2024, he has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the university.
