An interactive competition titled “National Unity Through the Perspective of Alikhan” was held at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, dedicated to the 160th anniversary of Alikhan Bokeikhanov - statesman, leader of the Alash movement, scholar, and translator.
The aim of the event was to present Bokeikhanov’s ideas to students in a modern format, promote the values of national unity, and develop students’ scientific thinking, creativity, and media literacy.
Held in a festival format, the competition consisted of three stages combining science, art, and media:
• Quote Battle - students analyzed Bokeikhanov’s quotations and demonstrated their relevance today
• Poster Challenge - participants created modern posters on the theme of national unity
• Video Pitch - participants presented their ideas in a 2-minute video
Students from the faculties of Multilingual Education, Economics and Law, Physics, Mathematics and IT, and Humanities and Arts participated.

• Best Content Solution - Faculty of Multilingual Education
• Best Creative Solution - Faculty of Humanities and Arts
• Best Media Project - Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and IT

• Best Speaker - Birganym Kapsalym
• Best Innovative Idea - Ansaganym Abasheva
The competition demonstrated students’ ability not only to conduct research but also to present their ideas creatively in modern formats.
