Non-Formal Education: An Effective Way to Quickly Acquire New Skills

Non-formal education is actively developing at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. It is a flexible, goal-oriented, and practice-based form of learning that complements formal education and aligns with the concept of lifelong learning.

Professional development courses (2024–2025):

• Gamification and inclusive education courses for teachers

• “21st Century Skills” programs for прокуратура employees

• Functional literacy development courses for students

• “Sewing” and “Media Literacy” courses at Women’s Correctional Facility No. 79

• Workshops for young teachers

• Trainings on media and language integration, and assessment systems

• Courses in IT, AI, cloud technologies, and robotics

 

Within the “Silver University” project:

• Digital literacy and artificial intelligence

• Sewing skills

• English language

• Strategic foresight

• Financial literacy

 

Programs are implemented through short-term modules focusing on communication, critical thinking, digital tools, and project-based work.
