A festive event dedicated to Korisu Day (March 14) was held at Dormitory No. 2 of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University as part of the Nauryznamа ten-day celebration.
The main goal of the celebration was to promote Kazakh national traditions, strengthen respect and unity among young people, and widely popularize the meaning and significance of the Amal holiday.
During the event, students discussed the educational and cultural significance of Amal, noting that it is a special day when relatives, friends, and neighbors meet, greet each other warmly, and exchange kind wishes.
Students performed the traditional Korisu greeting ritual, presented cultural and educational programs demonstrating Kazakh customs, wore national costumes, and prepared traditional dishes for the festive table.
The warm and friendly atmosphere of the celebration helped strengthen friendship, unity, and respect for national values among students.
