At Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, fourth-year students of the “Translation Studies and Interpreting” educational program - Zhanuzak Aitbayev, Saltanat Zhumabay, Laura Tolegen, and Anelya Yermagambetova - shared their academic mobility experience.
During the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, they studied at WSB-National Louis University located in Nowy Sącz, Poland.
The students delivered presentations in Kazakh and English, sharing their impressions and experiences of studying abroad.
According to them, one of the main advantages of the academic mobility program is the comprehensive support provided by the state. Travel expenses, visa processing, medical insurance, and accommodation in a dormitory for five months were fully covered.
During the exchange program, students attended lectures in various disciplines, demonstrated their knowledge, and gained valuable experience in an international academic environment. The program also significantly improved their language skills.
In addition, during their free time, the students visited several neighboring countries, including France, Germany, and Italy.
The students emphasized that the academic mobility program is an important and beneficial opportunity for learners and shared valuable advice with other participants.
