The AI-Sana program is a large-scale national initiative of Kazakhstan launched in December 2024 by order of the Head of State. Its goal is to equip more than 650,000 students and young researchers with advanced skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and technological entrepreneurship.

Stages of Development in AI-Sana
Preparatory stage (February 2025 - present):
Students study the fundamentals of AI on the Coursera, Huawei, and Astana Hub platforms and gain access to lectures on AI trends and technological principles.
Stage 2 - Training:
Participants study AI fundamentals, entrepreneurship, design thinking, and practical case analysis. The stage is expected to involve 100,000 students.
Stage 3 - Project development:
Focus on developing individual student projects under the guidance of mentors and experts. Coverage - 60,000 participants.
Stage 4 - Scaling:
Comprehensive support for startups (acceleration) - from idea development to entering international markets and attracting investments.
