Prosecutor of Atyrau Region Met with Students

At Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, a meeting was organized with the Prosecutor of the Atyrau Region, Madiyar Bashshybayev, within the framework of the “Law and Order” principle. The event was held with students majoring in IT.

The meeting was attended by students of IT, law and legal studies, faculty members, and representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Atyrau Region.

Madiyar Bekenuly Bashshybayev graduated from the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Jurisprudence. He has been serving in the prosecution authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2000. Since September 29, 2025, he has held the position of Prosecutor of the Atyrau Region.

During the meeting, the Rector of the University, Salamat Idrissov, highlighted the achievements in the IT field, spoke about research in artificial intelligence, the Aisana project, and plans to introduce a new interdisciplinary educational program integrating IT and law.

In his address, the Regional Prosecutor focused on pressing issues in modern society, including stalking, drug-related crimes, cybercrime, and internet fraud. He also emphasized the importance of developing a culture of digital security.

As part of the event, IT students presented their projects related to the law enforcement sector. These included:

• Face ID technology for identifying individuals under probation supervision

• ERNS - Unified Registry of Supervisory Signals

• Intelligent System for Public Procurement Analysis

• RESTART: Social Support Project

• PsyConnect: Junior & Family

The presented projects received support and positive feedback from Madiyar Bekenuly.

The meeting was held in an open dialogue format, allowing students to ask questions and discuss opportunities for cooperation between the IT sector and law enforcement agencies.
