From January 31 to February 19, 2026, Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, organized by the Office of Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel, conducted Stage III of the professional development course entitled “Application and Development of IT and AI in the Educational Process.”
The purpose of the course was to enhance teachers’ information-communication and digital competencies and to develop skills for effectively integrating modern IT tools and artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process.
Within the program, participants learned to work with platforms such as Canva, Quizizz, Wordwall, LearningApps, Genially, Padlet, Google Jamboard, Miro, and Stepik. They also completed practical assignments on creating electronic portfolios, developing interactive tasks and feedback tools, and producing video lessons.
The course was conducted by Elvira G. Gaisina, Master of Science and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Computer Science. Classes were held on Thursdays and Saturdays, combining both theoretical and practical components. Participants acquired practical skills in integrating artificial intelligence tools into the learning process, developing digital content, and applying modern educational solutions.
At the conclusion of the course, participants presented their projects and were awarded certificates.
