“PROF Step: Curation and Mentorship” Project - An Important Initiative for the Professional Development of Future Teachers

The “PROF Step: Curation and Mentorship” project is being successfully implemented at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

 

The main objective of the project is to help future teachers explore their individual pedagogical practice, gain a deeper understanding of the importance of educational work in schools, support their professional growth, and encourage pedagogical initiatives. The project also aims to strengthen partnerships with base institutions for organizing scientific-practical and diploma internships.

 

Fourth-year students majoring in Pedagogy at the university combine their academic studies with practical teaching in schools, maintaining remote communication with university instructors. By applying theoretical knowledge in real-life settings, students gain insight into the specific features of the school educational process and take their first steps toward becoming modern educators.
