Pedagogical Retraining Courses - A Confident Step Toward a Teaching Career!

Pedagogical retraining courses are designed for individuals who do not have a formal pedagogical education but possess professional qualifications in a relevant field and have chosen teaching as a career for the first time.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University admitted 83 trainees to the pedagogical retraining program across 13 educational programs. Currently, the participants have successfully completed two semesters of study and are undertaking teaching practice in schools. During their internship, they are actively applying their theoretical knowledge in real classroom settings.

Throughout the practice period, trainees participate actively in educational and extracurricular activities while mastering modern teaching methods. Under the guidance of experienced teachers, they develop lesson plans, design lesson structures, and improve their skills in establishing effective communication with students.

Teaching practice is aimed at enabling future educators to master innovative educational technologies and apply modern pedagogical methods to enhance the quality of students’ learning outcomes. During this stage, trainees receive methodological support and continuous feedback from experienced mentors.

As a result of the internship, participants gain a deeper understanding of their profession, develop professional competencies, learn to effectively organize the educational process, and shape themselves as competitive specialists in the field of education.

Upon completion of the practice, trainees submit reports on their work and share the experience they have gained.
