Competition for Vacant Educational Grants for the 2nd Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year

 

A competition is announced for vacant educational grants in the higher education process.

 

For Master’s Programs:

• B057 - Information Technology, 4th year - 1 vacant place

 

In accordance with Resolution No. 58 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2008, and the Rules for the Allocation of Educational Grants for Higher and Postgraduate Education Leading to a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, vacant grants are provided on a competitive basis.

 

Vacant educational grants in higher and postgraduate education are allocated among fee-paying students according to program groups.

 

In the event of equal GPA (Grade Point Average), priority is given to students whose grades throughout the entire study period consist only of A, A- (“excellent”), then B+, B, B-, C+ (“good”), followed by students with mixed grades.

 

The process for awarding vacant grants during the summer and winter vacation periods is as follows:

1. A fee-paying student submits an application to the program head for a higher or postgraduate education grant and registers it with a transcript and a copy of their ID;

2. Submitted applications are reviewed at a meeting of the Academic Council;

3. The competition is held among other fee-paying students who submitted documents to participate, based on program groups, year of study, and results of interim assessments.
