Regional Seminar on “Improving Pasture Lands of Atyrau Region” Held
A regional seminar titled “Improving Pasture Lands of Atyrau Region” was held in the village of Saraishyk, Makhambet District, with the aim of introducing modern methods for restoring pasture resources, promoting sustainable grazing practices, preserving biodiversity, and enhancing the efficient and sustainable management of pastures in Atyrau Region.
During the seminar, Professor Bolat Mukhambetov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, delivered a presentation on “Productivity and Cultivation Technologies of Izen and Karamatau Plants” in line with his scientific research project.
The event was organized jointly by the Administration of Atyrau Region and Makhambet District, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, and Black2Green Sustainable Hub LLP. Participants included A.B. Nugmanov, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences and Agronomist-Consultant at ABN-Technologies LLP; M.K. Ongarbekov, Scientist and Agronomist; T.A. Bulekov, Associate Professor at Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University and Candidate of Agricultural Sciences; O.N. Myrzabayev, Head of Makhambet District Department of Entrepreneurship and Agriculture; and S.A. Sagidollauly, Head of the Atyrau Regional Department of Agriculture and Land Relations. Experts exchanged views on the development and management of pasture lands.
The seminar provided a platform for scientists and entrepreneurs to discuss urgently needed scientific technologies for the region’s pasture lands and to propose effective measures based on biodiversity preservation.
In addition, the seminar included a presentation of the scientific and practical facilities of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
