
Seminar on the Prevention of Offenses in Railway Transport
At the Abai Student Center, a seminar-consultation on “Combating Crimes and Offenses in Railway Transport, Including Drug-Related and Cybercrimes” was held.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Sanzhar Adilov; representative of the Investigation Department, Bauyrzhan Abenov; heads of structural units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; representatives of the Atyrau Regional Police Department; and Rector of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, Salamat Idrissov.
The discussion focused on ensuring public safety in railway transport, fostering legal culture among youth, and effectively combating drug crimes and cyber offenses.
In his address, Rector Salamat Idrissov noted:
“In accordance with the President’s Address to the Nation on September 8, “Kazakhstan in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Urgent Issues and Solutions through Fundamental Digital Transformation,” the specialty “Digital Lawyer” was introduced in 2022 to train professionals with skills in preventing and investigating internet fraud and applying artificial intelligence in law enforcement activities. Additionally, upon the recommendation of the Atyrau Regional Bar Association, the specialty “Advocacy” was added.”
During the seminar, students were invited to consider employment opportunities in law enforcement agencies. In addition, video materials were presented, and experts from the field shared their professional experiences.
